The results of 200 students in five secondary schools in Ahoada East Local Government of Rivers State were collected and analyzed using stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results showed that performances of students in Mathematics could be used to predict results of SSCE Chemistry. The researchers also found out that results in English Language alone had a low predictive value of performances in Chemistry. The researchers however recommended that credit pass in English Language should not be made compulsory for students who would like to study science and applied sciences. Also, mathematics teachers should put in more effort in teaching the subject because of its importance to science in general and technological advancement in particular.
2022-10-10T00:00:00+01:00 Copyright (c) 2022 DYNAMIC JOURNAL OF EDUCATION, COMMUNITY SERVICE UNIT, IGNATIUS AJURU UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, RUMUOLUMENI, PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE, NIGERIA. https://dymsb.com/index.php/DJE/article/view/41 CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF YOUTHS ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN NIGERIA: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS 2022-10-11T15:46:40+01:00 Ezra Hilega Luther Ezra Hilega Luther goldchukwuemeka@gmail.com Muazu James Matthew Muazu James Matthew goldchukwuemeka@gmail.com Clifford Otu Obi Clifford Otu Obi goldchukwuemeka@gmail.com
This study aims at unravelling the imbalance between education, unemployment and Entrepreneurship Education (EEd) and relating Sustainable Development Goals with youth entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
