Abstract

The trending issue globally focuses on this trio: racism, tribalism and ethnicity. In many developing countries there is glaring evidence of the mentioned issues almost in all ramifications. The paper using analytical, historical and descriptive methods of research  analyses racism, tribalism, ethnicity and how they continue to affect the global communities in many dimensions. The paper therefore argues that tribalism and ethnicity are  destructive  presently  in our context than racism. Tribalsim is  inimical to  the church and  the government. Some churches  have  seceded,  while some countries administration have become weak  because of tribalistic activities that are visible in appointment and promotion of people.The paper recommends that the government and the church  should  uproot tribalism, ethnicity and racism. This will help in the social and spiritual development of the government and the church.
